• Free Trial: Temporary access to premium features without charge.
• Paid Subscriptions: Full access to premium features, including personalized recipe generation.

By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Our services are currently offered only to residents of the United States. You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and these terms.

3. Nature of the Service

5. Limitations of Liability

• AI LA CARTE LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to food-related injuries, allergic reactions, or property damage.
• AI LA CARTE LLC disclaims responsibility for any inaccuracies or omissions in recipes or meal plans.

6. Free Trial and Demo Mode

• Demo Mode: Provides limited features at no cost and requires no payment method.
• Free Trial: Offers temporary access to premium features. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue accessing premium features.
• Usage of both modes is subject to these terms, and access may be revoked at our discretion.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method.
• Refunds: If you are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within two (2) weeks of starting a paid subscription.
• Failure to cancel before the renewal date will result in a charge for the next subscription period.

8. License for Free and Paid Users

• Recipes generated via the free tier, demo mode, or paid subscription belong entirely to the user. AI LA CARTE LLC imposes no restrictions on how these recipes are used, shared, or modified.
• The value of our service lies in customization, meal planning, and integration features rather than individual recipes.

9. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these terms.
• Fraudulent activity or misuse of the service.

If your account is terminated for a violation, you are not entitled to refunds.

10. Intellectual Property

• AI LA CARTE LLC retains ownership of all intellectual property related to the platform and created by AI LA CARTE LLC, including software, algorithms, and user interface designs.
• Recipes generated through the service—whether free or paid—are not subject to ownership or restrictions by AI LA CARTE LLC and belong entirely to the user.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Disputes:

• You agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, conducted in Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
• Arbitration is intended to provide a fair resolution while minimizing costs and delays.
• Both parties waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." AI LA CARTE LLC makes no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of recipes or meal plans.
• Fitness for a particular purpose or suitability for dietary needs.

13. Amendments

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance.
